Beth Munro Fall into Color

September 25 – October 29

Beth Munro’s compositions create a moment where movement and texture, color and pattern create a harmonious rhythm which moves the viewer throughout the composition. The artist finds inspiration from the Impressionist works of Cezanne, the gestural paintings of De Kooning to 19th and 20th century design in  historical quilts and stencil patterns. The daughter of a designer and painter, she treasures familial inspiration and continues to expand and explore new forms and mixed media in her work.

“While my work has become increasingly abstract in recent years, the focus on color and pattern remain a constant.  I hope my work conveys a mood, delights the eye, and captures the whimsical nature of life..” – Beth Munro
